The detail.
Most businesses don't need another transport company, they need one contact who already knows their vehicles, their lanes and their paperwork. MOVD commercial contracts are built on that idea: you brief us once, then every job runs through the same person, the same process and the same invoice.
We move dealer stock, insurance recoveries, rental fleets and government vehicles, single units or full yard relocations. Scheduled runs keep to an agreed timetable, on-demand jobs are confirmed with driver and ETA details, and every load is photographed at both ends with a signed condition report.
Contracts are written around your volume and your service levels rather than a fixed package. Tell us the lanes you run, the volume you expect and the reporting you need, and we'll come back with a written proposal covering rates, notice periods and escalation.
Invoicing is consolidated, weekly or monthly, with job-level detail so your accounts team can reconcile without chasing job sheets. Your account manager is the person who quotes, books and runs the job, and is the number you call when something changes.
Pricing: Contract pricing is built from your volume, lanes and service levels. We confirm rates in writing before the first job and review them at agreed intervals rather than changing them mid-contract.
From quote to delivery.
Enquire
Tell us what you move, how often and which lanes. A ten minute call or an email is enough to start.
Scope
We check equipment, driver availability and compliance requirements against your volume, then flag anything that won't work.
Propose
A written proposal covering rates, service levels, invoicing terms and reporting cadence.
Operate
Jobs run through your account manager by email, phone or portal, with confirmations and ETAs on every load.
Review
Regular performance reviews so pricing and scheduling keep matching what your business actually needs.
Built on standards, not shortcuts.
We pick this job because it's what we do well, and we keep doing it because customers come back.
- One account manager who quotes, books and runs your jobs.
- Consolidated invoicing with job-level detail, no chasing job sheets.
- Carrier's liability cover on every load, certificate of currency on request.
- Scheduled and on-demand capacity from Tauranga and Christchurch operations.
- Nationwide coverage, both islands, including inter-island ferry coordination.
How quickly can we get set up?
Usually within a few working days. We confirm your requirements, issue a written proposal, then start booking jobs once you're happy with the rates and terms.
Do you invoice monthly?
Yes, weekly or monthly consolidated invoicing is available, with job-level detail so your accounts team can reconcile each load.
Can you commit to regular lanes?
We can schedule recurring runs around your timetable and confirm capacity ahead of each window. Very large or short-notice volumes are checked against fleet availability first.
Who do we call when something changes?
Your account manager, one number and one inbox. They handle quotes, bookings, changes and escalations for your account.
Can you provide reporting?
Yes, we provide job-level reporting on volumes, on-time performance and exceptions, and we can agree a reporting cadence that suits your team.
Are you insured for contract work?
Every load is carried under carrier's liability cover and a certificate of currency is available on request. Specific cover requirements can be discussed as part of a contract.
What happens if my vehicle or equipment is damaged in transit?
Every vehicle and load is photographed before loading and after unloading, with a signed condition report at both ends. In the rare event of damage in transit we'll let you know immediately, document it and work through it with you and your insurer. We carry carrier's liability cover and can provide a certificate of currency if required.
